Safetouch: Non-Slip Porcelain Stoneware Slabs

Safetouch is Lea Ceramiche technology developed to create smoother, more pleasant-to-the-touch surfaces while maintaining high standards of slip resistance. It is designed particularly for indoor environments where safety, comfort and ease of cleaning need to coexist on the same surface.

The technology uses very fine microgranules of glass origin. The surface therefore avoids the pronounced roughness typical of many traditional slip-resistant finishes, while retaining at microscopic level the irregularities needed to improve grip. The result is a floor that feels more pleasant underfoot and is easier to clean.

Lea Ceramiche recommends the Safetouch surface for bathrooms, wet areas and public or commercial spaces. In bathroom tiles, for example, it can provide a suitable solution when a softer tactile feel needs to be combined with high slip-resistant performance.
