Slimtech Lea Ceramiche is laminated porcelain stoneware in large formats, developed to create lightweight, durable surfaces with reduced thickness. The slabs are available in sizes up to 100x300 and 120x278 cm, making it possible to cover walls and floors with fewer elements and fewer grout lines.
The ease of cutting and processing broadens the possible applications of Slimtech. In addition to floors and wall coverings, the material can be used on furnishings, counters, kitchen worktops, furniture, shower enclosures and other applications, selecting the most suitable solution according to the requirements of the project. Ceramic surfaces for furniture can therefore be coordinated with the same textures and colours used throughout the architecture.
Slimtech also offers advantages in renovation projects. When the existing surface is suitable and the installation system allows it, the slabs can be laid over the existing surface, avoiding the need to remove the previous floor. This reduces the amount of material to be removed and can simplify installation times and processes.
The large dimensions enhance veining, colours and textures across extensive surfaces, while the reduced thickness helps minimise weight and bulk. For applications subject to specific requirements, such as porcelain stoneware kitchen worktops, the correct configuration must be selected. Slimtech thus extends the use of ceramic surfaces from the architectural envelope to furnishing elements.
